Live music, fantastic food, silent auction, and more. Join us for the annual Billings Symphony Bash and help support our community outreach and educational programs. We believe in the power of music and offer more than 100 free outreach programs each year throughout Southeastern Montana and Northeastern Wyoming. Adventure in Music Day, Rural Rhythms, and Symphony in the Park are just a few ways the Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale uses the power of music to inspire and teach our community, students, and music lovers.

Bring your blanket or lawn chair and relax to an evening of music under our big Montana sky. Round out your experience with picnic fare from participating food trucks.
Paella + Spanish Tapas Cooking Class
Paella is a family favorite for the Jodry’s – owners of Zest. We make it in the summertime on the grill, but it’s just as easy to whip up on the stovetop for a weeknight dinner. Learn how to create the perfect Socarrat – the layer of crispy crunch toasted rice at the bottom of the pan – plus a simple Spanish tapas recipe and Marguerite’s nonalcoholic sangria.
Paella is a very scalable recipe. The technique you’ll be learning can be used to make a quick weeknight dinner for two, or a meal of 10 in a larger pan.
This is a VERY hands on class. Participants will work in groups of two to make their paella from start to finish. Be prepared to stand on your feet for the duration of class and get a little messy!
What’s on the menu:
- Seafood Paella
- Spanish Tapenade de Aceitunas
- Nonalcoholic Sangria
- Flan
Included with each class purchase:
- Meal served with class
- Recipe booklet
- 10% off purchases made the day of the class
