The Purple 5k is back!!! The Purple 5K run was created to empower the community to be actively involved in the fight against homelessness, poverty, and addiction in our city. This fun run/walk starts and ends in downtown Billings under Skypoint and take participants through the hospital corridor and north elevation neighborhoods of Billings.
Registration opens Thursday, March 14, 2024
CAN ANYONE PARTICIPATE? Yes! Young or old, fast or slow – we encourage participants of all ages and ability levels.
SHIRT REGISTRATION DEADLINE: To guarantee you have a shirt ON race day- Register by April 14, 2024.
PACKET PICKUP & REGISTRATION: Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 9am to 4pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024 9am to 4pm, and Friday, April 22, 2022, 12pm to 3pm. Location: the new DBA office (102 N. 29th St.)
The Purple 5K directly supports the Spare Change for Real Change micro grant program.
Over the last 11 years, the Purple 5k has helped the Spare Change for Real Change program raise over $130,000. Those funds have been put towards local projects and programs that are actively working to alleviate homelessness through education, housing, social services, treatment/rehabilitation, and re-integration.
