Montana Brewing Company (aka Brew Pub) is the host of the next Alive After 5 on Thursday, June 27th on the streets below Skypoint (2nd Ave N & N Broadway). We can always count on the Montana Brewing Company Alive After 5 to draw a large crowd and we’re ready for it!!!
tHE BAND
The Billings band, Repeat Offenders will rock out on stage under Skypoint at the June 27th outdoor concert. If you don’t know who they are yet, we encourage you to come enjoy the show. They are a popular, crowd pleasing band who cover songs from the 1980’s all the way to current hits. They play songs you can’t help but dance and sing along with.
The band consists of a number of downtowners (residents, business owners, regulars); Kenn Patterson (vocals), Dusty Young (Drums), Steve Shelton (Bass), and Jon Verbeck (Guitar). The moment the Repeat Offenders step on stage the crowd can feel their “we’re here to have a good time with you all” energy.
a BIG bILLINGS TURNOUT
The Repeat Offenders June 2023 Alive After 5 at Skypoint was enjoyed by approximately 2,723 attendees. That event and crowd set an Alive After 5 attendance record with nearly double the average attendance. We are prepared for that kind of turn out again this year. In fact, our DBA Events Team has been proactively planning for the growing number of event attendees, for a few years now. We’ve done this through adjusting stage locations and expanding the event footprint. We keep the experience of those who attend Alive After5, and the other large events produced out of our office, in mind as we coordinate our events. People remember how they felt when attending and we want the community to feel they have room to dance, mingle, and experience the location they are at.
The 2024 Alive After 5 series is presented by our team at the Downtown Billings Association (DBA) and our presenting sponsor Valley Credit Union. The series’ weekly summer concerts takes place outdoors at a different downtown location Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, June 6 to July 25, 2024 (with the expectation of next Thursday, July 4).
Admission
Alive After 5 is an all ages event and admission is free to the public. Those 21 and older wishing to consume alcohol must purchase a $3 wristband at one of the Purple DBA tents at the event.
The revenue generated through Alive After 5 wristband sales fund a number of things for the Business Improvement District (B.I.D.) like the flower baskets, public art projects, landscaping projects, and free community events like the parades, chalk on the walk, and more.
