Arterial Drive returns to the Alive After 5 stage June 20th at Thirsty Street Brewing Company

The next Alive After 5 event is on Thursday, June 20 hosted by Thirsty Street Brewing Company.

Thirsty Street Brewing Company and their neighbors Northside Pawn, Rands Hats, and Undammed Distillery partnered together last year to host their first Alive After 5. We had a lot of fun bringing Alive After 5 to a new downtown spot and can’t wait to do it again this year.

The band for the evening is a local favorite, Arterial Drive. They are a 5-piece group of musicians originating from right here in Billings. The self described “indie/folk poprockin’ reggae soul warriors,’ Arterial Drive sings a healthy blend of amazing originals and classic covers. Consisting of electric guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone, Arterial Drive has something for everyone.

The 2024 Alive After 5 series is presented by our team at the Downtown Billings Association (DBA) and our presenting sponsor Valley Credit Union. The series’ weekly summer concerts takes place outdoors at a different downtown location Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, June 6 to July 25, 2024 (with the expectation of Thursday, July 4).

Admission

Alive After 5 is free to the public, however, those 21 and older wishing to consume alcohol must purchase a $3 wristband at one of our purple event tents at the event.

The revenue generated through wristband sales at each Alive After 5 helps sustain the coordination and facilitation of downtown beautification projects, public art projects, and other DBA community-centric events throughout the year.

The V.I.P. Experience

Twenty $10 V.I.P wristbands  are sold weekly for each Alive After 5 event, and can be purchased before 12:00 pm each Thursday, either in person at the DBA’s office located at 102 N. 29th St. or by calling the DBA office at (406) 294-5060. The V.I.P. area offers a shaded space for you to cool off, hang out, and enjoy the show. The V.I.P. area includes tables, chairs, free ice-cold water, and a great view of the stage.

Support the DBA with a pint

The evening acts as a launch party for the newly released Downtown Billings Ale (aka: The DBA, yup we now have a beer named after us). ‘The DBA’ is a new Thirsty Street limited run pale ale brewed by Owner/Brewer Shea Dawson. Dawson is a DBA Board member and teamed up with us to offer a seasonal ale that can act as a fundraiser for Downtown Billings. A dollar from each pint purchased of the ‘The DBA’ will be donated to the DBA (Downtown Billings Association) to help fund for the many downtown beautification projects the nonprofit champions.
