Tiny’s Tavern, home to the locally famous Orange Crush drink, is set to host their 18th Alive After 5 event this Thursday, July 28 on N. 24th St from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Thursday’s event is an outdoor concert and street party which will feature mountain-reggae gypsy-jazz infused soul band, Cole & The Thornes of Bozeman Montana.
Cole & The Thorns are an eclectic, funky group with an infectious uplifting energy. Cole’s powerful, sultry vocals and empowering lyrics are accompanied by Jazz guitar, island ukulele, and playful horn melodies. Their sound will leave you searching for that groovy soulshine that radiates through their music.
“I really enjoy this band. I was introduced to them when Uberbrew requested them for their Alive After 5 band in 2019. I was in the audience when they packed the Thirsty Street Brewing Company’s Garage location last summer. They really got the crowd moving and grooving. It was such a good time. I can’t wait to have them perform for the large Tiny’s Tavern crowd. I know it will be memorable.” shared our Events & Community Engagement Director, Lindsay Richardson.
Cole & the Thrones have been busy this summer performing in early July at the two-day Reggae in the Rockies music festival in Wyoming and Music in the Mountains in Big Sky, Montana. They are not only gearing up to perform at downtown Billings’ Alive After 5 this Thursday but are also scheduled to play at downtown Bozeman’s, Music on Main, next Thursday, August 4th.
