The 31st Annual Strawberry Festival is Billings’ largest Vendor Street Fair

The 31st Annual Downtown Strawberry Festival takes place under Skypoint at N. Broadway and 2nd Ave. N. from 9:00 am-4:30 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022. The Strawberry Festival is a free community event. The festival is coordinated by or team with the support of Co-host sponsor, TDS Fiber.

The Strawberry Festival is Billings’ largest street festival that includes approximately 125 different vendors. Our vendors range from local retailers, non-profit organizations, and Arts & Crafts merchants from around the region showcasing crafted creations including photography, oil paintings, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, sculptures, glass, ceramics, and garden art. The public can expect plenty of ‘Made in Montana’ goods, balloon twisters, laser tag, kids crafts and activities, and live entertainment at Skypoint. There will be a variety of cuisine and beverages hosted by local and regional food trucks specializing in BBQ, Mexican, Pan Asian, German cuisine, Thai, shaved ice, and much more.

We received a lot of sponsor support for the festival this year and that support allowed us to add more to the festival. We are excited to have the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter at the festival again this year with their booth fee covered by Billings Federal Credit Union. Valley Credit Union is also an event sponsor and their sponsorship covered the booth fee for Nellie Nicole Designs, the winner of Valley Credit Union’s young entrepreneur contest, The Hive.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The Billings Heights Lion’s Club’s pancake breakfast is back in a new location. The filling $7.00 breakfast will be hosted in the 29th St. Alley just across the street from Barjon’s Books at 223 N. 29th St. The group will start serving breakfast to the vendors and early downtowners as early as 7:00am. Funds raised by the pancake breakfast at the Strawberry Festival help provide vision screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aid assistance to those in need throughout the Billings area.

More Berries Please

We hear every year that the crowed would like to see more berries. There will be pallets of fresh Montana sourced berries from Garden Avenue Greenhouse available for purchase right at Skypoint. We added balloons to the merchants, store fronts, restaurants, and food trucks offering strawberry & berry products to make it easier to spot them while you explore the festival.

Skypoint Entertainment

Live entertainment will happen under Skypoint at N. Broadway and 2nd Ave N all day long:

  • 11:00 am – Greater Heights School of Dance
