Barefoot in the Park
Barefoot in the Park is one of the most beloved comedies of Neil Simon. Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter are over the moon to begin their life together in their new apartment in Manhattan. Paul is a straight-laced lawyer and Corie a romantic free-spirit; nevertheless, opposites attract and the two are wild about each other. Corie decides to introduce her conservative widowed mother to their eccentric, bohemian neighbor. A wild night ensues, one that highlights just how different Corie and Paul are. The young couple must learn how to accept and embrace their differences as they learn that marriage is no easy walk in the park.

Tuck Everlasting – Youth Production at NOVA
Based on the novel by Natalie Babbitt, this story asks the question, “What would you do if you had all eternity?”. Eleven-year-old Winnie Foster yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence. Not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck Family does she get more than she could have imagined. A Youth Conservatory production directed by Samantha Pfeifer.
Reader’s Theatre at NOVA
Reader’s Theatre is just that…an exciting opportunity to enjoy a play and give the characters a voice! Adults & older teens welcome. Play selection will be pre-selected, parts will be randomly assigned before reading begins. NOVA concessions will be available. Join us to read, join us to watch! There are no requirements for obligations, just come and enjoy a Sunday evening with friends, or soon-to-be friends.
No costumes, make-up, or memorization, just a delightful time spent with others that enjoy bringing a story to life! Three hours have been allotted, however, times will be dependent on the length of the selection.

Auditions for BRIGADOON at NOVA
Directed by Precious McKenzie, Brigadoon is a wistful musical classic about two American tourists who stumble upon a magical village in the Scottish Highlands. The village seems like a place that time forgot and the tourists learn that this place only appears in the mists once everyone hundred years.
Auditions are open for adults with a select number of roles for children available as well. Auditioners should prepare to sing a song from Brigadoon and one other piece of their choice. Come prepared to read from the script, and be prepared to dance. Scripts will be
available for check out at the NOVA Box Office. Performances will be June 14, 15, 16 & 21, 22, 23.

This well-loved classic story will have auditions for ages 12-18 years old. The performances will be held May 10-12 and 17-19, 2024. Please plan on attending one of the audition dates if interested in working tech, or backstage.

A beautiful operatic spin on the fairytale of Cinderella, composed by Pauline Viardot. The story has familiar, and new, characters seen in unexpected storylines. Directed by Jan Michael Kliewer. Presented by Rimrock Opera Foundation and NOVA Center for the Performing Arts.
