We’ve got another film in our ongoing Nostalgia Night series comin’ atcha! This month’s nostalgic gem to be playing at the historic Babcock Theatre will be Stephen Herek’s uplifting family drama, THE MIGHTY DUCKS! This comedic underdog story has Emilio Estevez starring as reckless lawyer Gordon Bombay, who is ordered to coach a kids hockey team as community service after getting arrested for drunk driving. Conveniently, Gordon is experienced on the ice, but finds himself reluctant to return to hockey, a feeling further bolstered by his former (and now rival) coach, Jack Reilly. Thankfully, this is a feel-good film all about overcoming struggles and climbing to the top through perseverance and teamwork! Stick it to the man, Emilio!
