About Walkers Grill
It all started out simply enough in 1993 ….. two brothers, one from the front of the house and one from the kitchen, wanting to do authentic food and drink that was simple, approachable and from the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients. Many years later, Walkers is a well-established downtown favorite and a destination for locals, travelers, theater-goers, and museum patrons alike. The menu is a glorious mix of international cuisine and western comfort food and selections offer freshness and simplicity with professional wait staff that contribute friendly service in a casual, yet urban, dining setting. And the barkeeps are some of the finest in the region and have been classically trained in the art of drink, not to mention they’re just kind of nice folk.
Walkers is conveniently located near the hospital, financial, and ballpark districts in downtown, as well as in between the historic Northern Hotel and the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton and within walking distance of the other hotel properties. We accept reservations, although certainly not required, and we have plenty of parking at no charge for our guests. Walkers serves dinner only, 7 days a week, with live jazz every Sunday from 7-10.
