Billings Public Library

Starting April 30, 2022, the Billings Public Library will be partnering with the Billings Community Seed Library to bring access to local varieties of garden and wildflower seeds to the citizens of Yellowstone County.
The seed library will be housed in cabinets located in the Montana Room of the Billings Public Library. The seeds within the cabinets will be free, and come with educational literature to help guide gardeners. The cabinets will be maintained by the Billings Seed Library Community volunteer core consisting of Master Gardeners, community garden volunteers, and other associated local growers and producers.
A grand opening event for this service will be held on April 30, 2022 in the Billings Public Library Royal Johnson Community Room. The Seed Celebration will take place from 10am-12pm. Light refreshments will be served.
