Just in time for Mother’s Day, come make a wonderful pressed-flower art display with local artist, Linda Franson!

Participants will need to provide their own 4″x6″ picture frame for their arrangement, but register at HERE for a free frame with matting. These frames are limited to the first 10 people who sign up, so make sure to bring your own if you don’t make it in the top 10!

Participants are also encouraged to bring a small pair of tweezers to handle the flowers.

Linda Franson has a large and rambling garden filled with a riot of perennials.  She is an inveterate gardener who has found a way to preserve the beauty of a summer garden in small decorative “paintings” using pressed flowers.  Her hobby is an old hobby; pioneer women, without much access to art or decor, often pressed hardy, native flowers and hung them on the walls, gracing and beautifying their humble homes.
