Making downtown Billings a model for inclusion in the community is a priority of the Downtown Billings Alliance. Downtowns across the globe thrive on a diversity of people and opportunity. We strive to make sure downtown is a place where the entire community can come together without prejudice, to learn and celebrate the variety of cultures and people who make up the rich tapestry of our community and region. We are thrilled that once again 406 Pride has chosen to bring the Billings Pride Festival and a number of other events to celebrate the LGTBTQ2S+ community to our downtown.
Pride Events in Downtown:
The Pride events below are coordinated by 406 Pride. 406 Pride works with the diverse populations of Montana to build unity, acceptance, and fellowship and to ensure that LGBTQ2S+ people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and throughout our community.
Monday June 19th:
10:00am – 12:00pm: Community Clean up

Kick off Billings Pride Week with a community clean up effort! Help us clean up the downtown area surrounding the resource center, 4th-5th & Broadway & N. 29th
7:00pm – 10:00pm: Billings Adult Queer Prom

The theme is 🍃 Enchanted Forest 🌿 and this will be a dry (no alcohol) event! Tickets: will be pay what you can at the door, suggested donation up to $20!

Celebrate the launch of our 2023 Zine “Big Gay Planet” and our Billings LGBTQ2S+ Community survey AND an open mic night for folks to read their work related to our Big Gay Planet theme! This will be an alcohol free space with snacks and drinks, crafts and an opportunity to be together with queer folks and allies celebrating our community!

Wave and cheer and enjoy the merriment of the colorful pride parade. The parade uses a smaller version of the downtown parade route as the Pride festival will be set up under Skypoint. The parade heads East on 2nd Ave N. and will turns North onto N. 30th and then heads back West onto 3rd Ave. N. .

Join us as we take up gloves and trash bags to pick up litter around beautiful downtown! We’ll meet at the Resource center, gather gloves and bags, and then set out in the near by blocks! Come for as long or short as you’re able!
