Our move to 102 N. 29th Street begins officially, Monday, April 15th. Our office will be closed the entire week of April 15th. We will resume regular business hours Monday, April 22nd in our new temporary location.
The why behind a temporary move
We’ve been in our current location, at 116 N. 29th Street, for five year and it’s been great. We’ve had a great landlord and love our neighbors, but we’ve simply out-grown it and have been on the hunt for a new permanent home for the DBA.
While we continue our search, we aren’t moving far. In fact, we’re moving temporarily, three doors down, into the building where Yesteryears Antique Mall was (102 N. 29th Street). Yes, the building is still slated for demolition and development (hopefully in the next 18-24 months). In the mean time, we own 102 N. 29th Street and don’t want to do the neighborhood a disservice by leaving such a large and visible space vacant. Additionally, Moving temporary into a building we own allows us a chance to save funds to help us move into a well suited permanent office space that meets the needs of our multi-faceted Organization. Our current location has received numerous inquiries that we’re certain would be great additions to this vibrant downtown block. We don’t anticipate it to remain empty for long.
Come and see us soon
We will keep you all updated as we settle into our “new” space. We do hope to have a few events at 102 N. 29th Street while we are tenants to allow you all a chance to visit of the building and learn about what is coming in that space in the coming years.
