About Yellowstone Valley Citizens Council
Yellowstone Valley Citizens Council is made up of volunteers who care about our community. Our goal is to create a more healthy, inviting and sustainable community by educating, mobilizing, and testifying to ensure our voices as citizens are heard.
We are focused on action and our members meet regularly to plan the next steps for each project. The projects themselves are carefully selected by our members. In our 45+ year history, we’ve fought to reduce pollution, to support consumption of local foods, to encourage a more walkable and bikeable city, plus many, many more. We are the local chapter of Northern Plain Resource Council.
Your voice matters and we all have a responsibility for helping shape our community. Visitors are welcome at any of our meetings, and we’d love to meet you. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about our grassroots community.
