You might already know this, but in case you didn’t know, bidding is currently open for all Yellowstone Art Auction works.
Each year, the Yellowstone Art Auction raises crucial support for the exhibitions and educational programs that the Yellowstone Art Museum (YAM) presents to the community year-round. As much as the YAM would love to host their much anticipated auction event, things look a little different this year as the YAM transitioned the Yellowstone Art Auction 53 online.
The YAM is thrilled to announce that over 800 works of art were submitted for jury to this year’s exhibition, setting a record, and welcoming new artists from around the country. This exhibition displays an impressive breath of quality and diversity. To ensure that the works are showcased to our community and the surrounding regions, both in person, and online opportunities to view the works are available. The online bidding platform went live at 5 p.m. on January 22nd. The YAM has three intimate in-person, Quick-Finish Nights featuring two artists per night on their schedule. These Quick Finish Nights offer you a chance to watch some of your favorite artists complete work in real-time which will be auctioned off during the Live Auction portion of the event. All in-person events at the YAM will be in compliance with current Covid-19 guidelines. The exhibition and bidding culminate on March 6 at 10 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
