406 Pride, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building unity, acceptance, and fellowship for Billings’ LGBTQ+ community, has plans for its biggest event of the year: Billings Pride Fest 2024.

Billings Pride Fest 2024 will be held Saturday, June 22 in downtown Billings, with the Pride Parade starting on 2nd Avenue and 33rd street and turning on N 30th Street. Once the parade is finished, the Pride Festival festivities continue under Skypoint at 2nd Avenue and Broadway, with a host of vendors, musicians, and food trucks, wrapping up the day with a 21+ afterparty.

406 Pride President Kat Elam (they/she) noted that this summer’s event marks the 6th Pride Fest held by 406 Pride, an occasion that is equal parts celebration, affirmation, and protest.

“Billings Pride is a celebration of the rich diversity of our city,” Elam said, “and it’s also an opportunity for people of all sexual and gender identities to make themselves be seen and heard in an atmosphere of safety and community.”

Billings Pride is a family-friendly event, with activities for kids such as Drag Story Hour at Billings First Church and the popular, all-ages Strut Your Stuff Dance Party. And as always, admission to the festival is free for all.

406 Pride was established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) charity, and the following year, it opened its Resource Center in the Billings First Church as an open affirming environment for people of all sexual orientations and gender identity expressions.
