May 3rd, we will be playing a special screening of David and Jerry Zucker’s hilarious 1984 comedy satire, TOP SECRET, at the historic Babcock Theatre! A mid 80s masterpiece parody of classic spy films, Elvis movies, and mid century political melodramas (fitting released towards the end of the Cold War!), TOP SECRET stars the late Val Kilmer in one of his funniest roles, dishing out absurd insanity alongside a talent cast of supporting actors throwing themselves headfirst into the Zucker brothers’ trademark zaniness! It’s a legitimately hilarious film that presents itself so uniquely, it borders on the surreal and will leave questioning reality!
