We will be concluding our celebration of Richard Linklater’s stupendous BEFORE Trilogy at Art House Cinema and Pub with a special screening of the 2013 romantic drama, BEFORE MIDNIGHT, Thursday, February 20th! The stunning end to one of the most celebrated romantic stories of the last century, BEFORE MIDNIGHT excellently wraps up the story of Jesse and Celine, examining the complexities of love, the passage of time and how life’s circumstances can steadily threaten to upend happiness.
Another nine years have passed since BEFORE SUNSET, and Jesse and Celine now live in Paris with twin daughters, but have recently spent the summer in Greece upon the request of an author colleague of Jesse’s. When the vacation is over, Jesse must send his now teenage son back to the United States, leading him to question his life’s past and future decisions, which possibly threatens to put his relationship with Celine at risk.
