MSU Billings Library is thrilled to welcome Emily Calandrelli, “The Space Gal,” on March 26th. Calandrelli is the host and co-executive producer of the hit Netflix series Emily’s Wonder Lab; each episode features Calandrelli and a group of kid-scientists as they learn about STEAM through experiments and fun activities. Additionally, she is an executive producer and Emmy-nominated host of FOX’s Xploration Outer Space and was a correspondent on Netflix’s Bill Nye Saves the World. Calandrelli will explore the importance of science literacy, the benefits of space exploration, and the challenges for women in STEM careers during her lecture.

AUDITIONS! Itty Bitty Production at NOVA
Tiny thespians learning the things that make theater a life-long pleasure! NOVA’s “Itty Bitty Productions” will be holding auditions for those little ones that LOVE to be characters! Auditions will be held Monday, February 19th, 2024, 5:30PM at NOVA. There is no preparation required, parents/guardians are asked to attend. The show will be presented Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd and 24th, 2:00PM both days.
Free Family Series: A Puppet’s Plight
Benny is going into the 6th grade, but he has one problem: he can’t decide which instrument he wants to play. Violin? Clarinet? Tuba? There are too many to choose from! Join Benny on his journey as he meets different musicians, learns about instruments in the orchestra, and discovers all the opportunities music can provide. This show is geared towards K-6 students and their parents.
