ParaNorman | Art House Kids Movie Buffs at the Babcock

Gather the kids for another Art House Kids Movie Buffs presentation of the spooky Halloween adventure ParaNorman! Featuring the impressive stop-motion animation from the artists at Laika, this family friendly adventure is wildly entertaining and wickedly funny. But beyond the thrills and chills of the story, ParaNorman (as with all Laika films) is created wholly out of handmade characters, painstakingly crafted into poses to create the illusion of life as the artists must carefully manipulate every movement, 24 times for every second of film! It’s an art form that is rarely utilized anymore, but an impressive feat that cinephiles of all ages can be flabbergasted over! What better way to immerse your kids into the magic of the movies?
