About Billings Symphony

Founded as the Billings Symphony Society in May 1951, the organization’s mission is to enrich lives through music. Today that mission remains the driving force behind the Billings Symphony.

The vision of the Billings Symphony is to become a premier symphony for a community of our size.

This season, Music Director Anne Harrigan, along with members of the Billings Symphony, will present an annual season from September through June, featuring the Classic Series, the Sukin Series, and our free Symphony in the Park concert.

Each season, the Billings Symphony performs for tens of thousands of people throughout south-central and eastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming and helps introduce music to children, youth, adults, and seniors through Explore Music!, the Billings Symphony music education and community engagement program. We have the potential this year to reach thousands more through our live streaming programs.
