About 406 Pride
406 Pride started as The Awareness Project/TAP 365 in 2012. As an educational nonprofit, TAP 365 offered programing and support for LGBTQ+ people and allies in Eastern Montana. In 2018 the board of TAP 365 changed the organization’s name to 406 Pride to be more explicit about the organization’s LGBTQ+ focus.
406 Pride opened a LGBTQ+ Resource Center on March 23, 2019. The Resource Center is an open affirming environment for peoples of all sexual orientations and gender identity expressions. We work with the diverse populations of Montana to build unity, acceptance, and fellowship and to ensure that LGBTQ+ people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work, and throughout our community.
