From visionary director Spike Jonze, based on Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s tale, Where the Wild Things Are is an imaginative journey into the mind of a young boy coming of age and learning to handle his emotions. A fantastic adaptation (albeit from the hipster-iest days of 2009), it’s an emotionally raw story that breathes life into Sendak’s sparse poetry. Let the wild rumpus start!
