A classic 80s movie that was both a coming-of-age high school movie and a martial arts action flick, The Karate Kid left an impact on the VHS era of our collective childhood that has lasted well into our adulthood. Let’s face it, none of us can polish anything anymore without reciting “wax on/wax off” in our heads (or out loud for some of us!). With Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” returning for season three this January, it’s a perfect time to take a nostalgic trip back to where the story began for Daniel and Johnny. A great film to revisit and share with the family this January at the Babcock!
