The origin story: ballet, jazz, & breakdance classes, gymnastics, violin lessons, choir, a little girl in a small Montana ski town playing Stevie Wonder on repeat.  Prep school on the East Coast; chapel hymns, a musical, a play, a cappella group, massive amounts of European EDM, finally earning the coveted key code to the school’s music production room. Acceptance into NYU Tisch School of the Arts for music theory, music composition, music production, needlessly harsh, unnecessarily overwhelming.

And because of all this, because of every beautiful, messy thing that came before, Gilda House provides a harder look at how to be seen.
